Our book of the month is a live topic to be talked about in the American Socialist Voter's live chat area. Books are chosen to create out-side-the-box thinking and to challenge doctrine on and at all levels.
This spring's three month selections are:
August being the hottest month in North America we reserved a hot topic for reading and give plenty of time to those who wish to find this rare book, Venceremos! The Speeches and Writings of Che Guevara, 1968, edited and with an introduction by John Gerassi.
Center-leftists are invited to bring books to the attention of would be voters or those in search of information regarding democratic socialism and/or social democracy. The format is a simple listing with a hyper-link in alphanumeric order for ease of usage. We welcome all academic sources. Please use caution in open source material as there can be opinions placed that do not reflect a dynamic and fully fluid democratic style. We realize that some material is either off topic, yet related, or could be somewhat conflicting with Socialists; however, we tend to acknowledge open debate and open minds as a powerful force for the analytical, judicious, and rational processes.
Also don't forget to check out the books at the New Social Democrats listing.
