Committee to Explore Presidential Bid for 2012
Information on the formation of such a committee should be added to the agenda for all national phone conferences and meetings.
Ask:
- Who can fill these slots?
- Who can qualify?
- What makes them qualified?
Then continue this line of thinking until a vetting and listing has been complete. If the list is too short than membership needs to improve its' numbers. If the vetting shows weakness in membership, then seek out those who are more qualified for the offices.
Remember, as of 2008 election, the newly elected President must appoint around 4,000 officers to jobs in the bureaucracy for his term. This number is not expected to drop any time soon.
Vetting Process
The vetting process is to be a questionary having several pages of examining matter, holding in purpose an attempt, to avoid any later embarrassment of the organization in the public eye by disqualifiable elements.
A major objective to overcome is the failure of most third parties to have a base list of potential persons on several short list for the Presidential Cabinet.
